RFID for Industrial Assets, RTIs & Batch Transfer
RFID tags and reading hardware for integrators, asset-management software providers and technical distributors serving reusable containers, RTIs and industrial equipment. Select standard products for registration and batch-transfer checks, then validate the loaded asset and connect the results to your software.
Where asset identity and transfer completeness both matter
These are reusable, asset-led workflows. The suitable tag and read point depend on the item construction, handling route and transfer event.
RTIs, totes, crates and reusable containers
Identify each container or transport asset through repeated receiving, dispatch, customer return and pool circulation. Use group verification to confirm the expected items are present before a shipment or handover is closed.
WIP carriers, stillages and transfer batches
Track defined carriers or reusable assemblies between work areas, suppliers and logistics points. The RFID event proves a defined group was transferred; it does not claim continuous real-time location after that event.
Mobile equipment, fixtures and service assets
Register high-value movable equipment, test cases, carts or fixtures; then verify the expected set at issue, return, maintenance or site handover. A durable identifier is normally more important than maximum read range.
Match the RFID tag and controlled read point to the operating event
Crepak supplies the physical identification and read architecture. The customer or solution provider retains ownership of the host application, business rules and downstream system integration.
On-Metal RFID Tags & Labels
For metal containers, racks, cages, machinery or flat asset surfaces. Select the tag form against mounting area, available thickness, read zone and required printing or visual identification.
Rugged RFID Tags
For repeated impact, outdoor exposure, aggressive handling or mechanically retained mounting. Validate the attachment method as carefully as the RF performance.
Tars W500 Workstation
Use for asset registration, EPC-to-asset binding, exception resolution, receiving checks and small-group packaging verification.
Tars B900 Batch Identification Cabinet
Use an enclosed, controlled read environment for cartons, totes, containers or defined asset groups where reliable batch identification is required.
From asset registration to a verified batch-transfer event
The workflow illustrates the physical events that the customer system can receive. It is intentionally not presented as a Crepak SaaS platform.

Four layers to qualify before deployment
Physical asset layer
Define material, surface, available space, mounting route, service life and whether the asset is empty, loaded, stacked or wet during reading.
Identity and data layer
Define EPC, visual ID, serial number and any link to an ERP, WMS, asset system or pool-management record. One asset needs one unambiguous identity.
Controlled event layer
Set registration, receiving, shipping, transfer, return and exception events. Define what a valid group looks like and what happens when items are missing or unexpected.
Interface and validation layer
Connect the read result to the customer system through the agreed interface, then validate representative assets, density, orientation, timing and acceptance criteria.
Information required for a responsible RFID asset-tracking recommendation
Representative samples are important. An acceptable read result on a flat, empty sample is not evidence that a loaded returnable container or mixed batch will perform the same way.
- Asset photos or drawings, material and available mounting area
- Expected handling, cleaning, impact, weather and retention method
- Group size, item density, orientation and container geometry
- Receiving, shipping, handover and exception workflow
- Required identifier, host-system interface and event data
- Pilot scope, pass/fail criteria and expected program volume
Discuss an RTI or industrial asset-tracking application
Send representative asset details and the transfer workflow. Crepak will recommend the tag and controlled read approach, then define the validation route before a production recommendation.
