Yaka 20P Stainless-Steel LF RFID Transponder
2.3x8mm 134.2KHz LF RFID transponder with EM4305. Current reference read distance: Up to 2cm; validate the installed application.
Yaka 20P for application-specific industrial identification
Yaka 20P is a compact LF RFID transponder for close-range identification where a small sealed form factor is required. Its 2.3x8mm form factor supports projects where the available mounting space and identification workflow must be evaluated together.
The current record lists Embedded, glue. Select the installation method around the asset geometry, production process and mechanical load.
Design the installation around close-range coupling
The listed read distance is a product-selection reference. Coil geometry, reader field strength, orientation, surrounding material and embedding depth determine the installed result.
Validate representative samples with the intended reader, asset, orientation and final mounting process before volume deployment.
Yaka 20P specifications
Values above are based on the current and legacy Crepak product records. Any certification, ingress, extreme range or environmental requirement must be supported by the controlled production specification and current test evidence for the ordered SKU.
Qualify the final installation
- Test the actual asset material and geometry.
- Keep tag orientation and mounting process consistent.
- Confirm bonding or fastener loads do not damage the tag.
- Re-test RF performance after final installation.
Choose by installed performance, not headline range alone
Compare footprint, retention, environmental exposure and required read zone. Request samples when the project has metal, temperature, chemical, impact or embedding constraints.
- Specify the destination frequency region.
- Share reader and antenna details.
- Define normal and worst-case orientations.
- Confirm current test and compliance documents required for approval.

Validate Yaka 20P before volume deployment
Evaluate representative samples with the intended asset, reader and operating environment. Include both normal and worst-case read orientations.
Yaka 20P selection FAQ
Is the listed read range guaranteed?
No. It is a selection reference. The installed result depends on reader power, antenna, orientation, asset geometry, mounting and the RF environment.
Which data should be confirmed before ordering?
Confirm the IC, memory, frequency region, encoding, marking, mounting and evidence required for production acceptance.
When are samples required?
Use samples whenever the application includes metal, embedding, tight read zones, temperature cycling, chemicals, impact, persistent moisture or regulated approval requirements.
What belongs in the RFQ?
Provide the asset, installation area, read-zone target, reader setup, environment, destination region and expected quantity.
