WHY TUMBLER 30

Compact ceramic RFID for small metal assets and high-temperature processes

Tumbler 30 is a compact on-metal UHF RFID tag for tools, fixtures and other space-constrained industrial assets exposed to elevated temperature. Its ceramic construction provides a small footprint while maintaining practical read performance on metal.

High-temperature exposure
Up to 3 m
Read range on metal under favorable conditions
10 × 5 × 3 mm
Compact ceramic form factor
Adhesive / epoxy
Simple mounting for compact assets

THERMAL PERFORMANCE

250°C is an exposure rating — not the normal operating temperature

Tumbler 30 is positioned as a high-temperature exposure / survival RFID tag. Normal operating temperature is -40°C to 85°C.

Reading after cooling is recommended because RF performance can decrease while the tag is hot. High-temperature writing should not be assumed.

MOUNTING & INTEGRATION

Designed for small on-metal assets

Tumbler 30 is intended for compact metal assets where installation space is limited. Adhesive or epoxy mounting keeps the installation simple and avoids mechanical fasteners.

  • Use industrial adhesive or epoxy suitable for the actual temperature profile
  • Confirm the available recess or mounting space before sample selection
  • Keep the tag orientation consistent during validation
  • Validate final read range after the tag is mounted on the real asset
FREQUENCY OPTIONS

ETSI and FCC versions

Select the frequency version according to the deployment region and reader configuration.

  • ETSI: 866–868 MHz
  • FCC: 902–928 MHz
  • Confirm regional frequency before ordering samples or production quantities

APPLICATION VALIDATION

Validate the tag against the real process before volume deployment

For compact ceramic RFID tags, final performance depends strongly on metal geometry, mounting position, temperature exposure and reader setup. Use representative samples on the actual asset before volume deployment.
